Using Article Marketing For Your Online Business

By admin1 · Comments (0)
Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

Article marketing is utilized commonly by business owners as a means of obtaining free press space. A local business provides useful content to the newspaper free of charge, and in return the newspaper prints the business’ contact information with the article. Because newspapers and other traditional media are expected to present content on limited budgets, this arrangement is generally advantageous for all parties involved. For example, an accounting firm may market itself by writing an article entitled “the top 10 ways to avoid being audited” and offering it to the local newspapers several weeks prior to tax season. Similarly, a roofing company may offer radio stations a concise article entitled “how to avoid ice damage to your roof this winter” shortly before the winter season.

Article marketing is mostly done to attract more viewers to your website. Therefore, the purpose of this form of online marketing is not too different from the others. However, other than making viewers click on the link to your website provided at the end of these articles there is nothing more that article marketing can do in terms of increasing your revenue. Your website needs to be convincing enough for turning potential buyers into actual consumers of your product. Therefore, the content of your website needs to be persuasive. Not only do you need to pay attention to the advertisement of your product but you should also offer options of registering with your website to receive regular updates on your business through emails to potential customers.

Article marketing is almost as important as the article and we take every step possible to increase website visitors to your site. Original & creative articles written about your website & business. All articles professionally written & search engine optimized.

Article marketing is based upon a number of factors that include proper keyword placement, one-way text links, extensive syndication, and other vital practices that make your website a”logical choice for anyone on the net. Many website operators try writing and distributing articles only a few times, and quickly give up. “any client committed to making their website a success should realize that article marketing needs to be part of a regular, sustained effort if you are to keep up with your competition. At vertical measures this is”standard practice for us. ” we will make your continuing article marketing campaign as”easy to deal with as possible. We will write and distribute your articles to hundreds of sources online. , we work to get article published on industry-related publications both online and offline, as well as as submit published content to. While article marketing can be done on a limited basis, we recommend it as part of a larger.

Article marketing isn’t just for just web marketers, either. Isnare’s recent articles list covers topics such as how to win at poker, home business ideas, scrapbooking, and pit bull training techniques. Whatever your area of expertise, there’s an audience out there who wants to learn more, and publishers who are looking for free or cheap content. Your article is your opportunity to establish yourself as an expert. The best articles (and the ones that are most often picked up) are focused, easy-to-understand and helpful to your readers. The article is not the place to be promoting your product or service. If your article is too self-promotional, or filled with too much hype, many sites will choose not to run it.

Article marketing is a perfect opportunity to bring traffic in a cheap and effective way. Bloggers are usually pretty knowledgeable about the web and understand how to use advertising on their blogs to make money from the work that they are doing. Article marketing is just an extension of this knowledge. Creating keyword rich articles should not be a problem for the smart blogger. The first thing that you should do is create a collection of articles for your blog. The articles should be centered around the content of your blog and a good starting number for articles is between ten and twenty five. The more articles you produce, the better your chances of creating traffic to your blog. When the articles are prepared, you should submit them to the various article directories online and some of the publishers of ezines to get your work out there. These are the places where your articles will start to get some attention for your blog. Keep going with your article marketing until you have hundreds or even a thousand articles out there in the various article directories.Article marketing is a long term article marketing strategy for people who want to build their business using article marketing.

5 Great Tips for Setting Up a Home Based Business as a Working Mum

By admin1 · Comments (0)
Monday, November 16th, 2009

The idea of working at home can seem very appealing if you’re about to have a child, or when you’re just beginning to enjoy your maternity leave. You might have been considering options for quite a while, even perhaps before you found out you were pregnant, and now the thought of those long commutes and excessive hours may have a new significance to you. Many mums find that they need to work after they give birth, especially as budgets were tight to begin with and will be even more strained from now on.

In a fairly recent survey which was held in the Daily Express, more than thirty percent of working mums said they would prefer to be with their children and give up work entirely if they could afford to, while most mothers just wished that they could have fewer working days.

When the thought of leaving home in the morning to go to work each day meets with the idea of being far away from your new bundle of joy, most mums generally begin to think about the possibility of some form of home-based business. There are many opportunities available to you in this respect, but you must first be sure that you are aware of all the repercussions. In most situations, home-based businesses represent much longer hours, and just the thought alone of needing to keep up with all the paperwork and the other elements of operating your own business can be more than daunting. Consider professional coaching before you take this option as it will help you to unfold all of those implications.

When you’re thinking about setting up a home-based business, you should consider your strengths and weaknesses very carefully. Think back all the way to your school days and consider your interests. While many online life coaching experts caution against trying to convert a hobby into a business, you should nevertheless see if you cannot uncover an entity that peaks your interest. You may remember that you were particularly good at an extracurricular activity in school or university and, as with any business venture, you should always try and pander to your strengths.

1. Photography.
This can be a very rewarding venture. Most people like to take photographs, but if you find that you have a particular “eye” for this or remember that people often told you that you take good photographs, why not expand this? These days it is relatively easy to open your own photography business and you can set up a small studio in one of your spare rooms relatively easily. With the advent of digital technology and the spread of the web, you can get someone to help you design a great website and upload your creations for all to see. You should know that there are a number of online websites that allow you to register and upload your creations for their members to browse and potentially buy.

2. Wedding or event planner.
If you were always actively involved in planning events in university, or if you love to put together those outdoor parties for families and friends, why not consider becoming a wedding planner. This is an ideal job for a work at home mum and you can use your flair for creativity and your list of contacts to start the ball rolling.

3. Mobile pet grooming.
This opportunity can combine your love for animals with a definite need in the marketplace. Just as others have problems allocating time to do anything these days, they may neglect the pet and would be more than willing to allow you to bathe and groom. You will have to spend a good bit of time away, but you can set your own hours and will probably be surprised to find that there is a fairly large client base within your immediately vicinity.

4. Consulting.
If your career to this point has been in a specialised industry or you have specialised skills of your own, why not consider establishing yourself as a consultant in this field? You must of course find out whether you had any kind of “non compete” agreement with your previous employer, but if not, use your expertise and skills to help others.

5. Internet marketing.
This is a huge growth area and while it does suggest a fairly significant learning curve, you will conduct all of your business from the comfort of your spare room. There are a variety of different fields within the overall subject of Internet marketing and you can set yourself up to be an agent to sell other companies’ products, something known as “affiliate marketing,” or you can sell your own services as a web content provider, writer, artist or designer.

You should know that coaching for women in your position is available online and can often help to open your eyes to a number of possibilities that you may not yet have considered.

After Maternity, is it Time for a Career Change?

By admin1 · Comments (0)
Sunday, November 15th, 2009

If you are a first-time mum, you are probably going through a range of emotions as you look ahead and see your maternity leave clock ticking away. On the one hand you are overjoyed with your new family life, with the prospect of spending a lot of time with your newborn and harnessing all your maternal instincts to do what mums do best. On the other hand, you’re more than a little bit daunted by the challenge of bringing up the baby and cannot imagine how you are going to cope with a schedule of work as well.

Before you became pregnant and became aware that your life was about to change beyond all recognition, your existing career path seemed quite clear to you. Of course, that certainly wasn’t the only thing that was clear either, as you were constantly reminded of the overtime that you were doing and the way that your work was already eating into the little bit of personal time which you had left for yourself.

For mothers around the world, childbirth is an amazing life-changing experience. It ranks very highly on the list of life-changing events and can often lead to further and sometimes significant changes in other areas as well. Changing careers isn’t something to be taken lightly, but in some circumstances events can create a catalyst for rapid change, and as you’ve got quite a bit of time to think during your maternity leave, this may well be an excellent time to set a course in a new direction with respect to your career path.

If you have been thinking about alternatives, why not use the time away from your existing work environment to weigh up all the pros and cons? This may be the perfect time to look into some online life coaching sites, which are supurb at helping you to organise your priorities and discover what’s really best for you. There’s no reason to worry about seeking out professional coaching, as with any kind of career change, it’s a major decision which could greatly impact several areas of your own life, as well as the lives of your other immediate family members and you new baby too.

Often a career change can be just the spark that you want and can be driven by the natural enthusiasm that you now feel following your childbirth. Some women feel that they can take on the world after giving birth and this natural euphoria could really help you to make a go of your alternative career path.

If you find that, deep down, you are dreading the thought of returning to your old job and that you feel your career may have stagnated somewhat before you took your time off, then you really should reconsider everything. Sometimes it is better to get the view of a “third party,” or someone who is not a direct family member or even a close friend, as an impartial opinion could be very important at this stage. Specialised services offer coaching for women in your position and may well be able to offer you options which you had not even considered as yet.

When you talk to a professional coach you will be prompted to go through the positive and negative, and you may be able to unveil some underlying reasons why you are thinking so much about a career change. It might not just be something as obvious as the commute time, it may also be to do with the flexibility that a career working from home, for example, could provide.

Always consider your relationship with your current employer when considering a career change during maternity leave. Make sure that you read the terms of your current agreement and always keep them in the loop as early as possible, and especially as soon as you have made your decision.

8 Fatal Mistakes Made By PPC Advertisers

By admin1 · Comments (0)
Saturday, November 14th, 2009

PPC Domination

PPC presents a very difficult learning curve for some marketers. And many a Home Business owner has made at least one of the 8 mistakes listed below:

1. Obvious and Highly Competitive Keywords

Whenever you can think of a keyword easily, there’s usually a high demand on it between advertisers. Which means the newbie advertiser is going to be clawing at hundreds of ads for a first page placement with extremely high click cost and low conversion.

Whenever the searcher is faced with a LOT of options, they are less likely to optin or buy once they click your ad. Therefore, when starting out, you should avoid bidding on extremely competitive keywords.

There is an infinite supply of keywords available and you would be mistaken if you insisted on bidding on the one impossible keyword…eg, “make money from home”.

2. They’re bidding only on high or low volume keywords

Owning an ad campaign that covers all the major keywords in the market is key to generating thousands of daily leads.

Using a mindmap or a plan of the TYPES of keywords people might search for in your market will allow you to sweep the entire market and capture much more searches. On the other hand, if you restrict yourself to a keyword like “mlm” and derivatives of it, you will only be able to talk to people looking up things to do with mlm and explicitly using “mlm” in their search.

3. Bid on the wrong keywords

Quite often advertisers pick the wrong keywords that don’t capture the mindset of their prospect. For example, if you’re selling a training affiliate product for network marketers, it would be a bad idea to bid on “mlm leads”. People searching for such a keyword are usually looking for a place to buy ready-made leads at a good price.

They have little interest in generating leads of their own. And even the best ad will usually fail to capture their interest. It’s simply irrelevant.

4. Bid too low

Bidding too low can be an expensive exercise. The problem is that when you bid low, your ads will not be seen as frequently and will not be clicked as often. This results in a lower Click-Thru-Rate.

High click-thru-rates are rewarded with cheaper cost per click. And lower click-thru-rates are punished with increasing cost.

Therefore, by bidding too low, you are likely to hurt your click-thru-rate and increase your cost.

Your quality score can be seriously impacted by a click-thru-rate that is consistently dropping. That means Google will refuse to show your ad on their networks any more. They do this by enforcing a minimum bid of or more which few advertisers are likely to bid.

5. Confusing the searcher when they land on the website

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen is people who embark on PPC only to send all the traffic into the wrong kind of website. Such websites as corporate or replicated pages have too many external links and options to move around. They cause confusion and do not properly benefit from each click.

A better strategy is to send clicks that come from each keyword to a keyword-specific landing page with ONE purpose. What do you want to do? Produce a sale? Get a lead?

Your page needs to focus all the visitor’s attention on doing that ONE task you want. That’s why lead capture pages are so common in PPC.

6. Write misleading ads

Ads that mislead are not usually intentional. Few Google advertisers know what to say in their ads and they’re usually poorly written and appear to have no focus and no call to action.

The best strategy, i found, is to use the same headline on your landing page as your ad copy. This makes it directly 100% relevant.

7. No tracking

A horrible mistake I see sometimes even the experts make is not tracking every step the customer takes from search, to click, to opt-in, to reading your emails, to buying your product.

Knowing and understanding how many impressions it takes to get a click, how many clicks it takes to get an opt-in lead, and how many leads it takes to generate a sale is extremely important. They are what determine your profit.

After all, you will only succeed with PPC if you can minimise your cost and increase your revenue to get the highest possible profit.

8. No Split-Testing

Split-testing is probably the third most important skill to master after keyword research and ad-copy.

Even the worst copywriters can do very well on Google if they split-test.

Split-testing can be done at every stage. It gives you a reference point from which you can determine if one version of your ad performs better than another.

If one version of your landing page gets more opt-in leads than a second version. It’s possible to find huge differences in response when choosing colours, laying out your page, and testing different wording.
