Google Adsense is an application through which website owners can place Google Ads on their websites and hopefully increase their revenues. Advertisements can be in any form of text, image or video. Revenue is generated on a per-click basis. All the advertisements placed on the websites are content relevant according to the site.

Postcard Printing: Cut Your Marketing Costs

If your marketing budget has taken a hit lately, consider printing postcards to get your message out.

Postcards are less expensive than other print media because of their simplicity. As we all know, they’re limited in size, and have only two faces. This means less set up time, and less ink to print.

Once you’ve decided on postcards, you can also choose between color and black and white, which may give you another cost-cutting option. However, many postcard printing companies now print color for the same price as black and white, so this may no longer be an avenue of savings.

The cost of mailing a postcard in the U.S. beats the cost of mailing a letter; and that can make a significant difference if you do a major mailing. The pennies do add up once you get to mailings in the thousands or tens of thousands.

You also enjoy cost savings on processing costs, because the postcard is ready to travel as soon as it’s printed. You do not need to stuff mailers into envelopes, and that too represents a sizable saving. 

Where your time may increase slightly will be in writing. Because you have limited real estate for your message, you may need extra time to boil down the messages. This is especially true if you use an image and no text on the side opposite the mailing address. Crafting a concise postcard message will be good exercise in building your communication skills.

In going through this process of creating your message, remember to think of the postcard as a lead generator, not a sales generator. Most postcards should emphasize contact information, such as phone numbers and web addresses as the end point, not the sale. Sell when the prospect calls or visits your website, not on the card.

Bottom line, you can maintain your reach at a lower cost with postcards, but remember you’ll aim for leads, not sales, with them. And, get that sales message concise and just right before you begin printing postcards.

There are many alternatives available on the Internet to get going. Producing a website and then placing its link on another website is among the ways. Pages can be submitted to the search engines after applying SEO techniques. Websites offer various payment methods. Some take money for merely placing an ad or link on their website, some take money only when a visitors clicks on the link or internet site and some take money only if the visitors visits a link and have bought something or availed some service. There are alternatives available for the type of advertisement being placed. There are pop-up ads, banner ads, wallpaper ads, civil ads, video ads, etc. A Business concern* with really low budget can send mails to targeted customers.

Radio stations offer a good price to advertise during the non-peak time. Touch base with the local station and try to ask for a discount. The age-old custom of advertising in yellow pages directories is always a success. All businesses from small to big register themselves in the yellow pages and have sworn to be profited from it. People can search for contact numbers, addresses and services offered directly from the pages. 

Newspaper is the next best thing. First study the audience to be targeted by age bracket, gender, and location. Pick out the local newspaper and section where the ad should be placed hinging upon the audiences to be targeted. The classifieds department of the local newspapers have special offers, discover  in detail about the pricing structure for the size of the advertisements, number of words, font size, etc.

Design the business cards with accuracy. Try to include all the critical facts about the business concern like the name of the company, where it is located, services rendered, working hours, and contact information like land line number, cell number and individual to be contacted. Personalized business cards are good way of contacting the real customers.

Other way to advertise is to give demonstrations on your products. Pamphlets can be inserted in the business demonstration package. Other than things like history of the company and annual turn-up, once more business cards can be included in the package. Distribute newsletters with information about the latest offers and discounts. Informational letters of a page length and e-mails can be sent too on a regular basis. All this can become lot easier by connecting with companies who can provide the mailing list of a particular neighborhood and it comes for a very small price. The word of mouth is also a good technique in advertising. Try growing the connections in your network and join organizations which deals with advertising like trade associations and chamber of commerce. Active involvement in events of these organizations in time helps reaching more numbers of people.
