We all want to make sure we find a home business that’s proved ; proven to make you money, proved to make a lifestyle change, proven to supply an achievable platform for success for the average joe.  But is there truly such a thing as a proven Home Business?  And if that is the case how does one quantify that?  Is there a number of individuals that need to be successful before you consider a business proven?  And if that is the case what is successful? 

Everybody has a different definition of success, naturally almost everyone wants to make the hackneyed “million bucks”.  But in truth, Many would be OK with only one or two grand a month, for others it might be to replace their current earnings and work absolutely from home “Fire Your Boss” so to speak.  To Gage the successfulness of a home business and make sure that it is proven will be terribly difficult due to the ultra various nature of the home business community. 

But , here’s a few pointers to help pick out the winners of the home business crowd :

Longevity : How long has the business been around.  Being the first one in the door of the “Sure Thing” brand spanking new business opens you up to the highest potential for risk.  Sadly, many of these new opportunities are up and gone inside 6 months to a year.  Taking with it your money, time and effort, not to mention your dreams.  So have a look for something that’s been about for a few years. 

Compensation : proved business don’t usually model themselves off of really low ticket items and huge downlines “MLM” type firms.  These business flourish on massive volume and not sustainable quality.  Look for something which has a bit larger payout for you in commissions and makes it a bit more exclusive than the just induct a 1000 distributors and we’ll all be rich model. 

selling platform : What platform does the business use to market their services.  Is it face to face, bringing folk to conferences or dropping off examples of products at house parties, forget about it.  Bottom line is you want a platform that will enable you to get eyes on your product service or business hundreds or thousands of times each day.  As an example, the Net actually gives you the opportunity to scale and make much bigger profits. 

Product uniqueness : Is the product the same old lotion, potion or Juice.  These markets are just ultra saturated and have a really sort lived shopper retention rate.  And though they may indeed have some superb benefits, look for a service or product that could be a little outside of the box. 

In the end, your success or failure with most of these businesses will be completely up to you.  A good business will steer you, direct you, mentor and mould you and will eventually reveal itself as a proved home-based business.

But at the end of the day, there are never any guarantees, with one exception.  If you do not make some changes and take some probabilities, tomorrow will be the same as today.  So find a cottage business that you believe to be proved and go for it.  You may just change your life forever
